Arleen Lazarus was born on January 7, 1965, in Manhattan New York. She graduated from St. John's University in 1987 and the University of Miami Law School in 1990. In 1990 she began her legal career as an associate with the Law firm of Markowitz, Davis, Ringel & Trusty, P.A. practicing commercial litigation.

Arleen is admitted to practice in the state of Florida. She is a member of the National Association of Female Executives, American Association for Justice, and Florida Justice Association. Arleen has also had extensive charitable and community involvement with numerous organizations including the Boys & Girls Club of Ft. Lauderdale, and is a sponsor of the Florida adopt a highway program.
